Surf Shanti has been a dream experience for us. The house is just fabulous, in the village and with breathtaking views on the rolling hills -and this from the living room, patio and bedroom. It is so quiet and peaceful with privacy, you just become part of the town, whilst only 5 min drive from the beach and walking distance to the village. It is nicely decorated with eye for detail and quality. We had amazing daily surflessons and yoga lessons, which the Owner had organised for us. It was the perfect stay to make our hearts sing ;-). A 5 star-experience for sure!

My husband and I stayed here. Surf Shanti is a very special place. If you are looking for a truly unique place, this is the place for you. If you want beauty, peace, tranquillity, calm and a oneness with nature then you have found your nirvana. Peaceful with the most beautiful views - we LOVED staying here. The place is newly renovated and everything is finished to the highest standard while maintaining a laid back vibe - barefoot luxury. Yoga every morning was a joy surrounded by the valley and an unending view to the village and hills. You are an easy drive to the most beautiful beaches you can imagine - and the best surfing! Aljezur is a 5 minute walking distance away where you can find a supermarket and restaurants. All the closest beaches also have one or two small local restaurants also. Can't recommend enough - I want to be back there tomorrow!

Surf Shanti is a special place. Waking up and looking out across the beautiful valley to the green rolling hills, and hearing the rush of the town, is a great start to the day. The house is well appointed with plenty of space. There is everything you need for a great stay and you are within a few minutes of two great surf beaches and within 30 minutes of dozens of secluded coves or big surf breaks. It really is a magical place where you can chill out, connect with nature and have a fantastic holiday.
Very very nice home ! You will enjoy! A beautiful terrace, you can see and hear the ducks and frogs and cows. The apartment is very nice and we enjoyed 10 days in this absolutely quiet area. Don't forget to watch the stars in the night!

Our stay at this enchanting house was perfect. It was way better then expected. The pictures don`t show the true beauty of the house and its views. The host was really friendly and helpful. The surf lessons that the host can provide is really recommended. We had a great time surfing.

This was truly an incredible place to stay. The place is super clean and a modern minimalist dream. I enjoyed having wine on the deck every morning/evening and enjoying the view and the sunsets. You feel the peacefulness of being in nature, but are also very close to Aljezur (for groceries, gas, etc.) and a short drive to some of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen. I hope to return again someday.

I stayed one week in the Shanti cottage. It was the perfect place to calm my mind and live free in nature. I surfed every day, there are different kind of world class spots closeby. So for me - as surf lover - it's the place to be. The cottage is perfect to do yoga with mind blowing sunrise views when you wake up. The house has everything you need, comfy beds, a kitchen with all the necessities and the atmosphere and interior look and feel is really sophisticated. Surf Shanti is an amazing place to visit!

It was just as expected and did not fail to delight. Wonderful location, great view, close to Aljezur and a number of splendid beaches, although a car is necessary. Stephanie was very welcoming and helpful.
We've been 8 days at the cottage and felt like home. It's a very quiet spot sourrounded by nature and within a perfect distance to perfect beaches! The very comfortable home with two terraces offers every amenities you need during holidays. All facilities of daily needs as well as stylish retstaurants with unique food make this spot one of the best for downshifting! After two days at surf shanti you feel like having a week off already!!! Try it!

I stayed 2 glorious weeks in Surf Shanti & loved every minute... It's super clean & very comfortable with beautiful linen & great kitchen. All decor very well appointed.The afternoon garden deck is gorgeous & provides a haven from the sun & is perfect for wine & aperitifs. The location is super convenient & private and is 5 minutes to a selection of stunning beaches and 5 minutes to Aljzeur village which offers everything you need... ! A wonderful holiday l highly recommend to couples & families too. Kind thanks to Stephanie for her local knowledge & advice :-)
